I feel embarrassed for him. He sounds like a desperate applicant in a job interview, straining to say what he thinks the interviewer wants him to say. (I speak from personal experience - I think this is what I sound like in job interviews :-P)

It's no wonder GOP voters can't connect with Romney; he can't even pretend to have a soul. In what was clearly scripted to be the candidate extolling the virtues of his HOME state, he sounds more like he's reading a list of random nouns.
