Hillary Clinton Condemns Deaths of U.S. Envoy Chris Stevens, Aides, in Libya Attack: VIDEO

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a statement this morning about the ugly attacks in Libya which took the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three aides.

"How could this happen in a country we helped liberate? In a city we helped save from destruction? This question reflects just how complicated and at times how confounding the world can be, but we must be clear-eyed even in our grief. This was an attack by a small and savage group, not the people or government of Libya."

  1. "How could this happen in a country we helped liberate? In a city we helped save from destruction"

Because they cannot stand hard-boiled feminists like you, Hillary, and all that you represent--a US government that is trying to force feminist values down the throats of people who don't have any use for them. And you making such a statement will only reinforce their feelings.

And don't kid yourself--the "people" of Libya, like the people elsewhere in the Islamic world have no more use for your feminist agenda than the "small and savage group" you allude to.

Indeed, this is what has led to America's problems throughout the region. It tries to attribute the rejection of its agenda to "a few troublemakers" and tells itself that the majority of the population actually likes America and its feminist values, when, in fact, the majority does not.

Ergo the eternal failures in foreign policy that are costly both in terms of social alienation and in financial terms.

You would think this country would get it, sooner or later, but its provincialism and exaggerated sense of itself seems to prevent that from happening.

  2. OMG Rick. Get yourself a therapist and go every single day until you you feel better about your mom.

  4. Islam, the religion of peace strikes again thanks to a film posted to YouTube — being used as an excuse for mass violence by a number of foreign Muslims whose defenders seem unwilling or incapable of holding them to the same standard of behavior, self-control, and human decency that the rest of humanity is expected to live up to. The words and actions of Terry Jones and others are detestable, and are certainly intended to shock and to provoke a reaction — but when the reaction is mass rioting, armed attacks, and murder, the original exercise of free speech (however detestable it might be) is no longer the issue.

  5. Rick, you are a piece of work.

"Feminist values", ie the belief that women have value, are equals with men, deserve the respect and rights accorded to men. How radical. How extreme for us to "impose" these values on others.

  6. The world isn't confusing. It's pretty clear to me. Islam is to blame. It's a hate filled religion full of nutjobs.

  7. RICK:

You really are a total as*-wipe. I think you've spent too much time in the hot sun and your brain is dried like the prune personality you've managed to develop.

What a really miserable person you come across as - you're small world must be truly horrible.

  8. To say that Islam is a hate filled religion because some fundamentalist Muslims are nut jobs is equivalent to saying Christianity is a hate filled religion because Pat Robertson's followers and the Westboro Baptist Church are nut jobs. Islam in and of itself is neither better nor worse than any other religion.

  9. LOL "feminist values."

These people were reacting to a perceived affront to Mohammed, not a woman in pants with her hair and elbows showing.

  10. Religious fundamentalism is the enemy, not Islam. I would say that we have our own issues with religious extremists in this country. The only thing that keeps Christian Extremists in check is our Constitution, form of government, law enforcement, and judicial system. There are many evangelicals that preach the bible as 100% literal and would love to institute biblical law (be wary of Leviticus) and force their doctrine on everyone in this country. Thankfully our sound State prevents this from happening. We should not target a religion, we should target those who have no tolerance…no matter the faith.

    FYI check this out...

  11. Jesus Christ RICK - shut the f*uck up you insensitive, cretinous, grossly misinformed twit.

Or at best, for all our sakes, spill your morning cup of crazy juice on your keyboard.

  12. What DRG said. 100+

  13. Why does anyone respond to Rick? I really don't get it. I have an abusive and mentally ill brother, and I stopped responding to him many years ago. I care far less about some insane idiot on a site who spouts the same nonsense over and over to get attention.

  14. "Religious fundamentalism is the enemy, not Islam"

.... and crazy evil people. There are people like this in all religions, races, nationalities, etc. They use religion to justify their quest for power and actions.

Now we have idiots like Mitt Romney blaming the President, because he speaks about tolerance towards those who are Muslims, and not painting all Muslims with the same brush. It's just pathetic.

  15. Religion itself is the enemy. It is a menace to humanity, and for humanity's sake, must be destroyed. How many innocents are we going to allow the religious to kill before this is realized?

The religious cannot be reasoned with. All they know is corruption and destruction. Their only redemption will be in their demise, so that they will no longer be able to plague the Earth.

  16. Ha, this dumb woman said the mob parading his body through the streets were "carrying him to the hospital." It will be a pleasure to have you and your idiot boss out on the street in January. The US is a joke now and every rag headed enemy of it knows this.

    Posted by: MarkUs | Sep 12, 2012 1:06:32 PM

  17. @MARKUS - its no stretch to say that "dumb woman" is both infinitely more intelligent and informed that you.

So please, go back to doing whatever it is you do, which I'm sure in your mind is just as important as what our SoS and POTUS are doing right now.

  18. Has anyone else heard that Chris Stevens was gay?

    Posted by: sfjerry | Sep 12, 2012 1:31:30 PM

  19. Another racist attack by muslim adherents. Apparently, they heard about a movie they didn't like so they went out to find the nearest white people to kill. Westerners don't owe these people anything. NOTHING! Last year, I said these muslim uprising were bad, that the younger generations were more violent and more radical than the ones being overthrown.

    Posted by: Bill | Sep 12, 2012 1:34:35 PM

  20. @ Rick,

Any number of Western countries have female officials in their State Departments or diplomatic corps. Muslim countries only protest when someone in Western countries ridicules the prophet Muhammed, e.g., the cartoonist in Denmark. The Islamic fundamentalists were making it clear that they were enraged because of the film about Muhammed, not Hillary as Secretary of State. Rick, you have officially gone off the deep end.

    Posted by: Artie_in_Lauderdale | Sep 12, 2012 1:47:37 PM

  21. @BILL - how many Muslim countries have you visited in the last several years and how much time during those visits have you spent interacting with and getting to know the younger Muslim generations of those countries?

I'll take my answer off the air...

    Posted by: AERES | Sep 12, 2012 1:48:40 PM

  22. The typical "Have you met all ___ people?" response.

    Posted by: Bill | Sep 12, 2012 2:33:46 PM

  23. @BILL - it was actually more along the lines of the "if only people with stupid opinions were self-aware enough to know their opinions were narrow, anectodal and not based on any real empirical evidence and then humble enough to keep those opinions to themselves we'd all be better off" response.

    Posted by: AERES | Sep 12, 2012 3:44:42 PM

  24. @Artie-in-Lauderdale You call keep living in denial if you want to. Hillary's car was pelted with tomatoes on her recent visit to Cairo, by average people in the streets. You know, the same ones who led the Revolution.

Whatever the differences between different factions in the Islamic World, Sunni vs. Shi'ite vs. Alawite, Persians vs. Arabs vs. South Asians vs. Southeast Asians.......they ALL hate this woman and the feminist ideology that she is the living symbol of.

I am sure that if it were not for all the security around her, they would have torn her to shreds by now.

    Posted by: Rick | Sep 12, 2012 4:51:20 PM

  25. ya Rick - which is not a surprise coming from an anti-women Muslim state. Hell gurll, if you were there, they would throw more than just tomatoes at ya limp-wristed,straight-cock-obsessed, wig-wearing, cant-be as good-as-real-girls, frustrated pussay. A rick-on-a-stick-barbeequois is in order.
