  4. Very cute, and the short was cute too.
C'mon people, let's face it: NPH is hot and cute to boot.

  5. Wow, as much as I want to like this, it's pretty weird and insensitive that the Henson company is doing this at a time when their "tickle me" Elmo guy is having his own issues revealed.

  6. Wonder if NPH lets me borrow Burtka? He is so hot.

  7. These are cute enough... but I don't get it.

  8. "Tickle me"? Really?

I love NPH, and I'm trying not to get creeped out when he starts to open his pants in front of a Muppet, but it isn't easy.

  9. I like NPH and I like these shorts. My reaction to the introductory behind-the-scenes video, however, was astonishment that the Muppets were working blue. I have difficulty believing that Jim Henson would have approved of this. OTOH the (now) Sesame Workshop did approve "tickle me" Elmo, which surprised me because it's a slippery slope to child rape.

  10. @Diogenes Arktos: Then you clearly haven't heard Brian Henson's stories of how his father and the other puppeteers made the Muppets say and do absolutely *filthy* things between takes when the cameras weren't rolling.

Something tells me Jim Henson would find this hilarious.

  12. A gay man spoofing a child predator show? What the hell was he thinking?

    Posted by: Lee | Dec 19, 2012 11:50:52 PM

  13. @Rich F: No, I hadn't heard those stories. Thanks. OTOH - There's sometimes a tremendous difference between public and private personae. (We might call it being closeted.) I still think Jim would not approve of these public productions however much he would enjoy them in private.

@Lee: I didn't think it was about child rape, but about adult porn. (for example, his comment about being the plumber)
