Rhode Island House Panel to Vote on Marriage Equality Today

R2

Rhode Island's House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote, and pass a marriage equality bill today following last week's contentious hearings (photo above).

The AP adds: "The full House of Representatives could take up the bill later in the week if the committee votes to send it to the floor. Advocates for gay marriage say they expect the bill to pass the House but remain less confident about the Senate."
