And the company may simply feel it's wrong to deny its gay and lesbian employees a fundamental freedom: the right to marry the person they love in the state they call home."

1NewsIcon Could docs have a path toward a potential "HIV cure" for newborns? "A baby born with the AIDS virus appears to have been cured, scientists announced Sunday, describing the case of a child from Mississippi who's now 2½ and has been off medication for about a year with no signs of infection... A doctor gave this baby faster and stronger treatment than is usual, starting a three-drug infusion within 30 hours of birth... That fast action apparently knocked out HIV in the baby's blood before it could form hideouts in the body."

"One of the things that's very much part of my public image is the question of my sexuality. It's not something that bothers me in the slightest. 1. Since Joe Ratzinger quit his job, I wonder if Betty Windsor is feeling the pressure?

  2. Dude, making fun of the elderly is not cool. She's over 80 and shes sick, that combination can kill and take weeks to recover from. So seriously, yes shes a celebrity, but not cool.

  3. James Franco - Stop using the gay mystique to enhance your cool. Come out or give it up. Your little brother might tone down the exploitation as well.

  4. James Franco is a HUGE attention whore! He loves when the media, especially the gay media, talk about his sexuality. It inflates his already huge ego. Plus it makes his seem like the "cool" actor who doesn't think about sexuality. Everything he does and says is completely fake and seems to be more so for his image.

  5. I'm so tired of James Franco. It's like he keeps screaming, "Look at me, look at me!"

  6. So there are riots aimed at their tiny black population and Palestinians will now be given separate but presumably equal public transport in Israel? Israel is also a world center for human sex trafficking, money laundering narcotics trafficking. You really can't make this up. Oh, and they also blatantly and perniciously spy on their only real world patron, the U.S., not just state secrets but business and industrial secrets.

It's a ridiculous situation but $ talks. I hope the U.S. government can or desires to at least prevent them from starting another war in which American blood and $ would be shed.

  7. I know who Betty Windsor is but who's James Franco?

  8. The creation of Palistinian Only buses in Israel is a disturbing new occurence. Isn't anyone else reminded of "No Jews" in 1930's Germany or "Whites Only" in the American South? While I support Israel's right to exist, I am increasingly dismayed by their 40 year occupation of another people's land and their continual refusal to make a lasting peace with a Palestinian state.

  9. @Squeak Franco? Wasn't he a Dictator in Spain; or some other Country a few years ago?

  10. @Andrew: Unlike the Pope who can motu proprio things into existence, she'd have to persuade Parialment to pass a bill to allow her to retire. Given Prince Charles, I'm not so sure it would have a good chance of passing.
