Liberal NBC: ” Supreme Court hints that it won’t issue sweeping ruling on same-sex marriage ” 3/26.

And this is why we need to have Hillary Clinton elected in 2016… get rid of the bad tempered old white men on the court and replace them with Justices of the new dispensation.

  3. GB says

NBC’s Pete Williams reports that justices’ comments surrounding California’s Prop. 8 case make it “quite obvious” the Supreme Court is unlikely to issue a sweeping ruling that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.

Go back to the ’70’s. Live a little!

Looks like NOM will be moving those goalposts soon so they can cheer about victory if gay marriage doesn’t become the law of the land in all 50.

  5. kpo5 says

Tweet: “Scalia: “considerable disagreement” about the “consequences” of same-sex couples raising children.”

Apparently, in THEIR mission to redefine words, conservatives have a new meaning for the word “considerable:”

Considerable (adj.): When we’re able to find a single source contradictory to a plethora of findings, even if that source was derived with dirty money and bad science.

@JackFknTwist : cut the ageism and racism. There are lots of “old white men” (bad tempered or not) who oppose Proposition 8. I know a few. They all voted for Obama as well – neither Romney nor McCain reflected their political views. The determining factor seems to be less age or racial background, but rather a mix of education and living in a diverse area (due to the economic realities in our area, we have lots of people from all over the world living and working here).

Think about it: if age and racial background were the primary factors, how do you explain Clarence Thomas?
