Prince Harry, Given Number by Male London Socialite, Tells Him He’ll Go Gay if He Changes His Mind About Women

The Brit tabloids got aflutter over the weekend after a London socialite named Vincenzo Ianniello approached Prince Harry while he was on a date and gave him his number.

The Prince reportedly acted like one, joking with the man that he'd call if he changes his mind about women.

Something tells me Harry wouldn’t be toooo opposed to a drunken ‘rub and tug’ after a few pints. lol Kudos for him on handling this guy with good humor intact.

Interesting juxtaposition between the Santorum Post and the Prince Harry post.

A bit like the Pharisee and the Publican,
“Two men went up to the Temple to pray, one a Pharisee, one a Publican…..”

Harry comes off best; he’s not terrified of his own sexuality, and not haunted by “the other”.

He gave a polite response. He’s been trained to be diplomatic except when attending parties dressed as a Nazi.

Harry is a sweetie. Probably not the first time he’s been hit on by a guy. Probably won’t be the last. He’s comfortable in his own skin.

We all know he’s joking, but social cons look at this and think, “Oh, see? He might ‘change his mind’. People DO decide to become gay. It’s a choice, usually after beer.”

I would think that Harry is no stranger to gay people, his mom was an ally. Good for him not acting all horrors like a frat boy about it.

BTW, that’s a horrible site you linked to, in the article they call him “Mince Harry” Homophobic much?

Pretty offensive headline in British paper: “Mince Harry.”

I feel sorry for the guy because he can never be absolutely
sure who his father is. It could, theoretically, be James Hewitt.
He had an affair with Diana – and looks a lot like Harry.

This headline is not really accurate. Saying you’ll “call” is not saying you’ll “go gay.”
His answer was actually a pretty classy way of politely rejecting the presumptuous fan while still allowing the fan to save face and walk away happy.

    Oh, for Christ’s sake.

It seems that it’s impossible for this blog to mention Prince Harry without some creepy moron to bring up gossip theory about his parentage.

The affair between James Hewitt and Princess Diana began AFTER Harry’s birth.

I apologize for the message I just sent. It was written in haste and anger, and sent without editing.

I hate to defend Harry on the Nazi Uniform thingy. The Brits are still very much into everything WWII. History channel ore satire. Nearly every comedien has some Nazi stuff in his program. I’m from Austria (so Nazi stuff was BIG in my history classes) and I’m always freshly surprised how current this theme still is. And I don’t want to promote to forget or anything. Just that this seems to be quite close to the surface.

Princess Diana did a good job with her sons, they are probably more normal than anyone ever a member of his royal family.
