Delaware's Senate Executive Committee has advanced HB75, the marriage equaility bill, in a 4-2 vote. It now heads to the full Senate for a vote.

    Some people I’ve been reading said there was only 9 publicly confirmed yes votes. And Robert Marshall voted for a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality in ’09 although he did also vote for the civil unions bill in ’11. Has he confirmed his position on marriage equality?

    Looks like we may be relying on a Republican to see marriage equality in Delaware given I read Hall-Long is a lean NO vote because her church community doesn’t want her to vote for equality. Hopefully everything works out.
