Stephen Colbert Spars with the Strikedown of DOMA: VIDEO


Stephen Colbert laments the strikedown of DOMA:

"Traditional marriage is now as defenseless as a freshman frat pledge about to go through the spanking machine....If DOMA is unconstitutional, that means the Constitution is gay."

Colbert also spars with Slate's Emily Bazelon about the Prop 8 ruling, wondering if there's any way "to get the gay toothpaste back in the tube."

  1. I lost all respect for Stephen Colbert. He more or less jumped on the train of main-stream media and engages more in the "hunt of Snowden" instead of the real scandal.

  2. Colbert's contrarian brand of humor is starting to get old with me; a couple of nights ago a guest finally had the nerve to ask him to shut up for a minute so the guest could finish what he was saying, and I thought it was way overdue.
