WeHo's Infamous San Vicente Inn To Be Revamped

San-Vicente-Inn

Renowned hotelier Jeff Klein has purchased the San Vicente Inn in West Hollywood, WEHOville is reporting. The 26-room, clothing optional hotel has long been considered a landmark in the LA gay community. However, in recent years, its' reputation has plummeted, becoming widely viewed as dilapidated and a drug den. The presence of a drug rehabilitation facility on the premises, KLEAN, has also soured some guests on the prospect of a stay at the Inn.

Klein, who owns the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood and the City Club Hotel in New York, seems to have made this acquisition of out of love. He told WEHONEWS:

"[The San Vicente Inn is] one of the most magical, special places in all of West Hollywood, and it deserves a lot of love and attention.”

Last week, all the current residents were evicted and renovation of the hotel is already under way. Klein vows the Inn will remain gay-friendly and clothing optional. By the terms of the new lease KLEAN will also be allowed to remain.

  1. When I lived in Los Angeles in the 90s this was a great place to go layout if you didn't want to make the drive down to San Onofre State Beach to layout for an all over tan. But there were times when the drug usage was too rampant and a big turnoff to go there.

At night there was a lot of drug-fueled orgies which sound cool but when you're there and seeing all the messed up people flopping around like fish gasping for air, well it's just shows what a sad state the gays are in with their addictions.

I'm glad it's getting a revamp since it's needed it for over a decade and with all the changes in the area, namely the semi-high rise apartment building next door, the compound will fit into the neighborhood better. Hopefully the drug crackdown will take place and kick those types out to bring back a more enjoyable place to get that all over tan.

  2. Sean - it's - is a contraction for "it is"

    - its - is the possessive, no apostrophe, like just like "his" or "hers"

its' - means nothing and is not actually a word.
