White House Press Secretary Won't Disclose ENDA Strategy: VIDEO

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was grilled Wednesday by NBC News’ Kristen Welker on the President's strategy on ENDA, and why he hasn't signed an executive order, but refused to disclose any new details about it:

“If you talk about your strategy in advance, you’re not a very good strategist,” Carney said. “So we have supported it. We have made our support clear for it. We’ll continue to work with Congress in the effort to translate that support into law, to work to build on the bipartisan passage out of committee of ENDA legislation, and hopefully that process will result in a law that the president can sign.”

  1. So what happens when you get married and want to put your husband on the company's group policy and instead you get kicked out the door? The state recognizes your marriage but the company doesn't recognize you?

  2. This sounds just like the President's strategy for the repeal of DADT: no strategy at all.

  3. Keppler: that must by why DADT is still in force! (NOT!)
