  1. General Mills is an interesting organization...

I am an HR professional and interviewed with them for an internship that was required for my graduate program.

I had heard a lot about their LGBT inclusionary policies and their corporate LGBT groups and so asked the TWO recruiters I interviewed with about them. Neither could answer any questions about either the policies or the groups.

Makes me wonder how deeply entrenched their commitment really is. Or if a lot of is lip service and saved for widely publicized events. I say this because, shouldn't HR professionals, who drive forward this process and culture maintenance, be very knowledgeable?

  5. @D — this is pretty forward to be merely lip service. I think that Betty Crocker's heart is in the right place. It's inspiring to see these normal families in what I assume is the mid-west just struttin' their stuff, and being families. It's all about love, right on.
