That Time a GoPro Camera Fell from a Plane and Landed in a Pigpen: VIDEO

Gopro_pig

Or the day a pig spotted a UFO - unidentified falling object.

Writes YouTuber Mia Munselle:

"Camera falls from a sky diving airplane and lands on my property in my pig pen. I found the camera 8 months later and viewed this video."

  1. I'm sorry but the pig made the whole video worth it

  4. Well, now I have seen the inside of a pig's mouth. That makes my day!

  5. This couldn't be another one of those film school student's special FX projects like the eagle and the baby, could it? I'm finding this incredible. Is it my imagination or does the camera fall at an angle to the farm?

  6. If that isn't an endorsement for GoPro's impact resistance, I don't know what would be! And I so thought the pig was going to eat the camera!

  7. I wasn't sure if that was Brian Brown or Mary Gallagher at the end.

  8. @ JOHN

That would be an insult to pigs.

  9. @John - Maggie Gallagher.

  10. @Sean

The camera has the forward momentum from the plane, so, yes - the camera fell at an angle.

  11. @TRE - Whoops, thanks for catching that! Wish I could edit my own darn comment.

  12. Actually, I thought it was Kim Kardashian trying yet again to jumpstart a career. She always knows where the camera is.

  13. Yes - the pig did make it . . . very amusing

  14. The thing that always gets me in these videos of animal-meets-camera is that the first the animals always seem to do is eat the camera.

"Hmmm...here's something new. It doesn't smell like anything I've ever encountered before....

    "...I think I'll eat it."

What? And it isn't just domesticated animals that have owners to feed them and thus any new object just might be food. Even wild animals have the infant instinct of "put it in my mouth."

    I'm surprised we're not all dead. ;-)

  17. GoPro isn't above "stunts" like this. And it survived "6 months" in his pig pen? OK...

  18. LOL - that was disgustingly hilarious! But is that real? Are those camera that well built?!
