  3. Interesting situation but lame execution.

My partner and I were served drinks by someone we had seen in "Naked Boys Singing." It was around 7:30pm, and I don't know if the waiter or I was more embarrassed when I asked, "Don't you have an 8:00 curtain to make?" The waited was cool about it, explaining that he quit the show because it wasn't helping him with his singing career.

  6. The actor playing the porn/server was the only watchable part of it.

  12. There are some quibbling criticisms. but mine tend to be more specific. In my day (the tenth century CE), actors were taught to project even when shooting for film. There's no point in an actor saying his lines if he doesn't say them to where the audience can understand them. Even if the script were better instead of merely average, I still wouldn't know what these guys were saying most of the time because they're talking to each other with little concern for whether or not their dialogue is making it to the microphones.

Failure of the director, really. I know ADR isn't cheap, which is why it's important to get it right in principal photography.

  13. Hmm, poorly acted, poorly directed, poorly scripted and poorly clich├ęd. Now, pass the artisanal poorly.
