  1. Why would Time even make Laverne an option on their readers poll if they had no intentions of including her even with a top 5 voting placement?

  2. I am so glad the Iowa GOP have no clue what is in the US Constitution. And yet people vote for them, adoringly.

  4. Who to Blame for Donald Sterling and Cliven Bundy?

Well, let's start w/ Donald Sterling and Cliven Bundy and perhaps their parents and other relatives. Sterling got away w/ being a racist for years and years in the NBA of all places because he wasn't well known outside of the league. Now he's an embarrassment to them. Bundy had a long string of court fights with the feds but was a complete unknown until the fight over the Senate drew him into the news in Harry Reid's backyard, but that backfired on the GOP.

Bob Vander Plaats has been saying he wants a theocracy for years and years. His main source of political power is a huge mailing list of potential donors that he sells for very big bucks. That's all anyone's after.

  5. I do not think I ever noticed, but is the guy in that still photo with Rachel McAdams the same actor who plays Mike on Homeland? If so, damn, ten years a difference makes.

  6. In re: the Execution issue - end result is the convict is dead!! How it is achieved is immaterial - justice for the victims is served. Want a speedy death - then go for the Firing Squad...I know i should probably feel moral outrage but I can only think of the victims which these criminals kill, torture, rape, demean etc. and we're suppose feel bad because a Legal Execution took 16 mins, imagine what the victim of a shooting or stabbing or raping then stabbing goes through..... sorry i can't feel sympathy for the criminal......

  7. I look at these people who want to enact "christian" sharia law and kind of want them to win just so they can have their asses sued at taxpayer expense. Teach the taxpayers that their bigotry is expensive.
