On Monday night's The Daily Show, Jon Stewart delved into the pure comedy gold that is Donald Trump's presidential bid. Said Stewart, “America's ‘id' is running for President!” Trump's announcement was widely panned as being bombastic, ridiculous, racist and offensive. All of which filled Stewart with glee: “Thank you, Donald Trump for making my last six weeks my best six weeks. He is putting me in some kind of comedy hospice.”
In the end though, Stewart (along with his male correspondent)s got a little too excited about the ‘The Donald' entering the Republican race. The Daily Show‘s Jessica Williams on the other hand was less than impressed.
