Ariana Grande to Headline NYC Pride's Dance on the Pier

Ariana Grande will headline NYC Pride's 29th annual Dance on the Pier, organizers announced today, joining a host of famous female alumni that have taken the main-stage at NYC Pride.

Said Chris Frederick, Managing Director of NYC Pride: "With the rich history of this event involving artists such as the late Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Cher, Demi Lovato and more, we think Ariana will be the perfect fit [for NYC Pride 2015]."

Grande, whose brother Frankie is gay, has been an outspoken advocate and ally for the LGBT community, notoriously destroying an Instagram troll who made hateful remarks against her brother during his tenure on Big Brother

Also joining Grande at NYC Pride this year will be Tituss Burgess (aka Titus Adromedon of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fame), Parade Grand Marshalls Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Derek Jacobi, J. Christopher Neal, and Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera, out country singer Steve Grand, Adore Delano of RuPaul's Drag Race and Wade Davis, former NFL player and current Executive Director of the You Can Play Project, among others.

Adore Delano and Alaska Thunderf--k Look 'F--kin' Cool' - VIDEO

Adore Delano, one the finalists on last season's RuPaul's Drag Race, has released the music video for latest single, "I Look F--kin' Cool" featuring Alaska Thunderf--k and Nina Flowers. The song is the fifth single off her album, Till Death Do Us Party. The video takes dark glamour to a new level:

The video is set in a dystopian future, where an authoritarian, big-brother-like police force has enacted a coup ‘de fashion. All fashion and individualized self-expression has been banned in lieu of a military-esque uniform, but there are those that disobey. A small gang of rebel-punks led by Adore and Alaska (the two most wanted by the regime) have begun to band together using a sophisticated network called Jack’d to connect with like-minded individuals.

“It’s a bold, fiery, no-nonsense proclamation that we are all perfect exactly the way we are”, says Adore Delano of her latest track.  Delano admits that growing up in a suburb outside of Los Angeles, she was an outcast.  “A dark horse in a dark horse community,” she explains.

Adore Delano Wants To 'Party' - Video

Of all of this season’s RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants, runner-up Adore Delano seems to have had the most calculated, post-Race media blitz planned out. In addition to hitting the Pride circuit with fellow RPDR runner-up Courtney Act and winner Bianca Del Rio, Delano (Danny Noriega) has continued to drop relatively successful singles charting on both Billboard’s Dance/Electronic album and the Billboard 200. Delano’s channeling her inner Alice In Wonderland in the video for her latest single "Party." Spilling tea, sexy clowns, and spray-painted dresses--classic Adore.
