Video: Structure Being Called 'London's 'Eiffel Tower' to Be Built for 2012 Olympic Games

It's being called London's Eiffel Tower, it's designed by Anish Kapoor, and it's going to be built for the 2012 Olympics. If only they'd build a version with a roller coaster attached.

BBC: "The 115m tall piece, named the ArcelorMittal Orbit, will be placed in the Olympic Park and will be 22m higher than New York's Statue of Liberty. Outkast's Andre 3000: I'm Not Gay

At a party for the launch of his clothing line called Benjamin Bixby, Outkast's Andre 3000 told the New Yorker Observer that just because he dresses like a dandy he's not gay:

"People feel like, just because you like to dress well ... that don't mean you're gay! I don't know where that came from! My thing is the 1930s. It's clothes!"

Did Christo and Robert Smithson not impress you?

How about a bit of reflection? New York's next big public art event will be the installation of a giant concave mirror by Anish Kapoor, entitled Sky Mirror, in New York's Rockefeller Center. Those in Chicago are well aware of the transformative effect Kapoor's work can have on a space. His Cloud Gate (or The Bean as it is affectionately known) is a popular object of worship in that city's Millenium Park.
