Jon Stewart took time last night to look at the trending topic of 'Dad Bods', defined as "a nice balance between a beer gut and working out. The dad bod says, 'I go to the gym occasionally, but I also drink heavily on the weekends and enjoy eating eight slices of pizza at a time.'"
Does this mean men no longer need to lust after the ripped physiques they are so accustomed to seeing on the cover of 'health' magazines (see below)? Stewart brought in Daily Show correspondent Kristen Schaal to weigh in. Schaal commented, "It's finally time that society recognizes that a man's body changes when he has kids." But, what about women? Is there such a thing as a 'Mom Bod'? Sort of. The 'Mom Bod', as Schaal points out, is something slightly different: the Hollywood 'Mom-bshell.' Said Schaal with biting sarcasm and yet scathing sincerity of a news broadcast where a svelte female anchor was flanked by two 'Dad Bod'-ed male colleagues, "If that woman had a belly at all they would not let her on that show."

Jon Stewart, realizing there are currently too many 2016 GOP candidates, recently proposed a fun new game to help thin the herd called, "Let's Get Rid of Ted Cruz."
The game itself is pretty simple, just highlight a few of the litany of reasons why Cruz shouldn't be given the keys to the Oval Office (breathtaking hypocrisy, accusing gay rights supporters of waging "jihad" against Christians, etc) and let voters decide for themselves which of the current nominees for president should be given the boot.

Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart looked at the ever-expanding field of Republican contenders for President. As Stewart pointed out, this is the part of the election process that is most similar to Big Brother: we weed out the crazies who have no shot of winning. Enter: Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and everyone's favorite theocratic demagogue, Mike Huckabee. Stewart was sure to point out that Huckabee's announcement yesterday that he would seek residency at 1600 Pennsylvania of course included him opining the erosion of "natural marriage" and the worshipping of "the false god of judicial supremacy." Stewart commented, "Ah yes the false god of Judicial Supremacy, or as your founding father dinner-mates once called it, the constitutional rule of law."

After twelve years of laughs, Samantha Bee parted ways with The Daily Show last night to begin a new chapter in her career. Host Jon Stewart led the sendoff with a montage of some of Bee's more unforgettable correspondent bits, including her hilarious segment back from 2013 where she interviewed anti-gay Christians claiming to be the victims of bullying.
Bee will be missed, but hopefully fans won't have to wait long before seeing her jump back in the spotlight (as a host!) on one of the two projects she's currently working on for TBS.

Last night's The Daily Show opened with host Jon Stewart dissecting the anti-equality arguments at Tuesday's Supreme Court marriage cases. Stewart wasn't persuaded in the slightest, saying:
Tuesday's session was mainly a forum for gay marriage opponents to air their best and final arguments which we look at in tonight's segment You Got Nothin'. So called because opponents of gay marriage "got nothin'"

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart's Moment of Zen on Wednesday's episode featured televangelist Pat Robertson praying for a woman who "turned to lesbian relationships for comfort" at an early age. Later she went to prison, became a Christian, and was subsequently "set free" from her homosexuality because Jesus.
And here we thought prison could only turn straight people gay. Who knew the reverse was true too?
