Lawrence O'Donnell Relishes the Feud Between Limbaugh and O'Reilly on Marriage Equality: VIDEO

Limbaugh_odonnell

Rush Limbaugh took great offense to Bill O'Reilly's characterization this week of anti-gay marriage people as "Bible thumpers" and his evolution on marriage equality, so much so that he mentioned O'Reilly's name for the first time in ages.

Lawrence O'Donnell is eating it up.

"The really funny thing about Bill O'Reilly's conversion on marriage equality is that llke Rush, he hates people who change their minds about marriage equality. He hates Bill Clinton and he hates Barack Obama for doing exactly what Bill O'Reilly has done. In the very same segment last night where Bill O'Reilly announced his change of mind about marriage equality he actually attaced Bill Clinton and Bill O'Reilly for doing exactly the same thing."

Lawrence_odonnell

Lawrence O'Donnell delivered a blistering rewrite last night culminating in a challenge to Tagg Romney over his remarks that he wanted to "take a swing" at Obama during the presidential debate.

"So. You wanna take a swing at someone for calling your old man a liar? Take a swing at me. Come on. Come on. And don't worry. There won't be any Secret Service involved. Just us. And I'll make it easy. I'll come to you. Anytime, anywhere. Go ahead Taggart. Take your best shot."

The rant also hit Ann Romney for suggesting Mormon missions were an appropriate alternative to military service, Mitt's support for the Vietnam war and the draft, and his avoidance of the draft, the family's polygamous ancestry, and Mitt's suggestion that his sons were serving their country by helping him get elected in 2008.

Frank

Lawrence O'Donnell spoke with Rep Barney Frank (D-MA) 25 years to the day that he came out publicly while in office:

"I look back kind of nostalgically to a degree of bipartisan encouragement I got then that sadly I couldn't count on today."

Frank also condemns the "child abuse" he sees in the video of the Indiana church where a child was applauded for singing "No Homos Gonna Make It to Heaven", but notes that those people are diminishing.

Frank also talks about his upcoming marriage and the effect that same-sex marriage has had on the places where it has been legalized: "It immediately becomes non-controversial".
