Joe Biden and Paul Ryan React to Last Night's Debate: VIDEO

Matt Lauer spoke with Vice President Joe Biden this morning about last night's debate:

Said Biden of Romney: He's a good man, he's a decent man. But he demonstrated an overwhelming lack of understanding in international community. He demonstrated a lack of understanding in the military. I felt a little badly because it's clear he is not ready to be the commander in chief of the United States military."

Ryan got testy and defensive with Savannah Guthrie in a separate interview:

“We have a trillion dollars in defense cuts coming down the pipe that will hollow out our military and we don’t agree with that,” Ryan said.

“Sir, you voted for those cuts,” host Savannah Guthrie interjected.

“No, I did not,” Ryan said. “No, no, I did not support — you have to understand we have a third round of defense cuts coming. We obviously didn’t support the president’s budget. Let’s never forget it was the president who insisted that these defense cuts be part of the sequester bill. I wrote the legislation preventing them from happening.”

Jon Stewart Mocks FOX News Attempts to Delegitimize Biden at Last Week's VP Debate: VIDEO

Jon Stewart might be the last one to weigh in on last week's Vice Presidential debate, but thankfully for us that has given him time to round up all of FOX News' lame-ass attempts to spin it in Ryan's favor over the past week, including accusations that Biden's giggles and smirks were spawned by Bourbon and dementia.

"That rare form of dementia where you remember too much."

Paul Ryan Blasted by Soup Kitchen Owner for Fake, Unauthorized, Photo-Op: VIDEO

Brian J. Antal, president of the Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society, blasted Paul Ryan for an unauthorized visit to a soup kitchen which he commandeered expressly for the purpose of a photo op, the Washington Post reports:

“We’re a faith-based organization; we are apolitical because the majority of our funding is from private donations,” Antal said in a phone interview Monday afternoon. “It’s strictly in our bylaws not to do it. They showed up there, and they did not have permission. They got one of the volunteers to open up the doors.”

He added: “The photo-op they did wasn’t even accurate. He did nothing. He just came in here to get his picture taken at the dining hall.”

Ryan had stopped by the soup kitchen for about 15 minutes on his way to the airport after his Saturday morning town hall in Youngstown. By the time he arrived, the food had already been served, the patrons had left, and the hall had been cleaned.

The Obama Campaign Calls Out Ryan's 'Troubling Pause' on Abortion; The RNC Mocks Biden's Laugh: VIDEOS

Two new videos are out in response to last night's Vice Presidential debate, one from the Obama campaign and another from the RNC. The Obama video calls out the Romney-Ryan strategy of doubling down on repeatedly debunked attacks, making its centerpiece the "troubling pause" when Ryan was asked by Martha Raddatz if those who believe abortion should remain legal should be worried.

The RNC video focuses on Biden's constant laughter.

Which is more effective? Watch them both, AFTER THE JUMP...

The nominee under consideration in 2008 weighs in on last night's debate to Sean Hannity:

"It reminded me of watching a musk ox run across the tundra with somebody underfoot and in this case when it came to style it was Paul Ryan underfoot of the moderating allowing Biden to do the interrupting, to kind of take control of the conversation."
