Radio Talk Show Host Says Same-Sex Marriage Is as Make-Believe as Humans Being Able to Fly

Conservative talk radio show host Steve Deace dropped by Phyllis Schlafly's show, and same-sex marriage was among the topics the two discussed. Right Wing Watch reports that, during his appearance, Deace argued that gay marriage is as implausible as humans taking flight.

Deace-mugshotEarly in the program, Deace explained what he believed to be the dangers of marriage equality:

To finally be the first civilization in human history to say you have a legal right to have homosexual sex and relationships with your neighbor is costing other people their freedom of their God-given right to moral conscience, their God-given right free speech, their God-given right to religious liberty. And you can ask bakers, and you can ask florists, you can ask Hobby Lobby and all these stories of religious liberty that we're seeing around the have no right to do that which God says is wrong.

Deace then responded to a caller who claimed to have a "semi-liberal" friend who believes it's "not government’s job to legislate morality."

Question him further to find exactly out what that means. And I’m telling you, what I’m 99 percent positive that it will mean is that he’s bought into some postmodern thinking that says, ‘Well, yeah, I think this stuff is wrong and icky for me but I can’t impose my value system on somebody else.’

But of course, that’s a very slippery slope as well. I mean, someone might think, I have the right to fly and I’d love to fly and I have a desire to fly and I even found a judge that gave me a piece of paper that told me I have the right to fly. But when I fling myself off the top of a skyscraper, I run smack-dab into the law of gravity. It didn’t change because some judge said so. It still exists. So, chances are that’s a false objection from your friend because he’s bought into some postmodern thinking about over-judgementalism.

Phyllis Schlafly: ‘Many Americans’ Moving Out of Marriage Equality States in Protest - AUDIO

Phyllis schlaflyOn her latest radio commentary, right wing blowhard Phyllis Schlafly made the baseless claim that there is an ongoing exodus of anti-gay Americans away from marriage equality states because of pro-LGBT laws.

Said Schlafly:

“…many Americans are dissenting with their feet, by moving away from same-sex marriage states and into the many states that continue to recognize the value of marriage as being between only one man and one woman.”

Right Wing Watch quips, “The liberal media must be covering up this mass exodus from marriage equality states, because we haven’t heard a single story of someone doing this."

Right Wing Blowhard Phyllis Schlafly Feels 'Personally Insulted' By DOMA Decision: AUDIO

SchlaflyPhyllis Schlafly, the anti-gay, antifeminisit leader of the Eagle Forum, stopped by the Steve Deace radio show yesterday to blast the 'inappropriate, unprecedented and really nasty' majority opinion Anthony Kennedy issued for the DOMA decision.

When asked if Kennedy's writing is really just an 'anti-Christian polemic disguised as a legal opinion,' Schlafly had this to say [via Right Wing Watch]:

"Well, I was extremely offended at all the nasty names he called us. I just think it's so inappropriate, unprecedented and really nasty for the justice to say that the reason DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, was passed, and those who stand up for traditional marriage is that they have animus against gays, they want to deny them equal dignity, that we want to brand them as unworthy, we want to humiliate their children, we have a hateful desire to harm a politically unpopular group. I just think, I feel personally insulted by what Justice Kennedy said. I don't think that's true, the idea that anybody who stood up for traditional marriage is guilty of all the hate in his heart is just outrageous."

In the past, Schlafly has made the claim that 'the main goal of the homosexuals is to silence any criticism. Most of them aren't interested in getting married.'

Radio Host: Obama Is A Wussy Gay Who Throws Like A Girl — VIDEO

Phyllis Schlafly, Stan Solomon, Steve Davis

The Talk To Solomon Show LIVE hosted Eagle Forum head Phyllis Schlafly to talk about the influence of the feminist movement on the Obama Administration. Schlafly, who has been fighting the feminist movement for 40 years, simply stated that they would hurt the Obama Administration as feminists are not for the American people. Host Stan Solomon took her statements as a cue to interject some scathing criticism of his own for the President. As Right Wing Watch reports, Solomon had this to say about the Commander in Chief:

Barack Obama is a wussy guy who throws a ball like a girl, who everyone knows was involved in homosexuality and I think he is the stereotypical—if he could get away with it he’d be in drag. I don’t think he’s a man at all and he leads a whole group of men that are that way.

The likes of such sharp political insight have not been seen since the playgrounds of sixth grade. Schlafly continued with some remarks about gay marriage failing to pass in Illinois, a religious right victory which may be rendered moot when the Supreme Court passes their decision on DOMA and Prop 8 later this week. The video of the interview can be seen, AFTER THE JUMP...

Phyllis Schlafly Analysis: Gays Only 5 Percent of Attack on Marriage

Phyllis Schlafly hosted a "How to Take Back America" conference in St. Louis over the weekend.

Topics discussed included "How To Counter The Homosexual Extremist Movement," "How To Stop Socialism In Health Care" and "How To Recognize Living Under Nazis & Communists."

Who was there? "Among the prominent speakers who traveled to St. Louis for the conference were former Arkansas Gov. and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, Republican Reps. Tom McClintock, Tom Price, Steve King and Michele Bachmann, and 'Joe the Plumber,' aka Samuel Wurzelbacher."

Anyway, Schlafly weighed in on the marriage debate to a roomful of Christian extremists: "My analysis is that the gays are about five percent of the attack on marriage in this country and the feminists are 95 percent."
