Phyllis Schlafly: Gay Activists Want To 'Wipe Out' Christianity - LISTEN

Phyllis Schlafly

Anti-gay wingnut and Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly has said that marriage equality advocates are trying “to wipe out the Christian religion”, reports Right Wing Watch.

In an interview with conservative radio host Chuck Wilder earlier this week, Schlafly spoke out for “harassed” business owners who have violated religious right to discriminate laws:

“Have you noticed that only Christian small-businesspeople have been harassed and sued for refusing to participate in same-sex marriages even though our fast-growing immigrant populations, you know of Muslims, Hindus and other faiths are also opposed to that concept?

“They want to wipe out the Christian religion. And most of these other religions do not recognize same-sex marriage. I assume there are some Muslim bakers and photographers and other people who have been harassed, but they’re not being attacked and they’re not being criticized.”

Ted Cruz's Father Urges States To Defy Marriage Equality Rulings: LISTEN

Cruz_schlafly

Anti-gay activist and birther Rafael Cruz (above left) - father of and adviser to Senator Ted Cruz - has told state leaders to follow Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore’s lead by defying federal court decisions which strike down bans on same-sex marriage, reports Right Wing Watch.

Speaking on “Eagle Forum Live” with Phyllis Schlafly (above right) last weekend, Cruz senior said that states with marriage equality will soon force pastors to marry gay couples under penalty of prison:

“We need to realize that the attack on marriage is more than just an attack on marriage, it actually goes to the heart of religious freedom. What is going to come next and this is part of the danger of what may happen out of the Supreme Court in June, is that if marriage of anybody-with-anybody becomes a civil rights issue, then they are going to come to churches and force pastors to violate their religious convictions. And so it is going to come to America to where a pastor is going to be faced with a decision: do you obey a law that is not only unjust but violates your core principles, or do you obey God and face prison?”

Later in the program, Cruz suggested that President Obama is pulling a Frank Underwood by acting “like an emperor more than a president” in his obvious aim to destroy the United States.

In a moment of Christian clarity, when a caller suggested that citizens needed to start “killing judges,” the ever compassionate Schlafly said that murder could be seen as a step too far.

Phyllis Schlafly Calls on States to Ignore Pro-Equality Supreme Court Ruling - VIDEO

Fischer

Speaking on wingnut Bryan Fischer’s Focal Point yesterday, Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly (below right) said that state governors should “refuse to enforce” a Supreme Court decision striking down bans on same-sex marriage, reports Right Wing Watch.

Schlafly also urged President Obama and his successor to direct the Attorney General to defy the Supreme Court ruling, insisting that the highest court in the land cannot undo laws that have stood for “several thousands of years.”

Schlafly“We just cannot live in a country where one judge or even five judges are able to change the law of our land that goes against the laws of most of our states and we’ve had for several thousands of years about the definition of marriage, that is simply not our form of government.”

Schlafly is not only an anti-gay activist - she has also been fighting the feminist movement for over 40 years.

Radio Talk Show Host Says Same-Sex Marriage Is as Make-Believe as Humans Being Able to Fly

Conservative talk radio show host Steve Deace dropped by Phyllis Schlafly's show, and same-sex marriage was among the topics the two discussed. Right Wing Watch reports that, during his appearance, Deace argued that gay marriage is as implausible as humans taking flight.

Deace-mugshotEarly in the program, Deace explained what he believed to be the dangers of marriage equality:

To finally be the first civilization in human history to say you have a legal right to have homosexual sex and relationships with your neighbor is costing other people their freedom of their God-given right to moral conscience, their God-given right free speech, their God-given right to religious liberty. And you can ask bakers, and you can ask florists, you can ask Hobby Lobby and all these stories of religious liberty that we're seeing around the country...you have no right to do that which God says is wrong.

Deace then responded to a caller who claimed to have a "semi-liberal" friend who believes it's "not government’s job to legislate morality."

Question him further to find exactly out what that means. And I’m telling you, what I’m 99 percent positive that it will mean is that he’s bought into some postmodern thinking that says, ‘Well, yeah, I think this stuff is wrong and icky for me but I can’t impose my value system on somebody else.’

But of course, that’s a very slippery slope as well. I mean, someone might think, I have the right to fly and I’d love to fly and I have a desire to fly and I even found a judge that gave me a piece of paper that told me I have the right to fly. But when I fling myself off the top of a skyscraper, I run smack-dab into the law of gravity. It didn’t change because some judge said so. It still exists. So, chances are that’s a false objection from your friend because he’s bought into some postmodern thinking about over-judgementalism.

Listen to a clip of the above, AFTER THE JUMP. The entire show, if you can bear it, is here.

Phyllis Schlafly: ‘Many Americans’ Moving Out of Marriage Equality States in Protest - AUDIO

Phyllis schlaflyOn her latest radio commentary, right wing blowhard Phyllis Schlafly made the baseless claim that there is an ongoing exodus of anti-gay Americans away from marriage equality states because of pro-LGBT laws.

Said Schlafly:

“…many Americans are dissenting with their feet, by moving away from same-sex marriage states and into the many states that continue to recognize the value of marriage as being between only one man and one woman.”

Right Wing Watch quips, “The liberal media must be covering up this mass exodus from marriage equality states, because we haven’t heard a single story of someone doing this."

Right Wing Blowhard Phyllis Schlafly Feels 'Personally Insulted' By DOMA Decision: AUDIO

SchlaflyPhyllis Schlafly, the anti-gay, antifeminisit leader of the Eagle Forum, stopped by the Steve Deace radio show yesterday to blast the 'inappropriate, unprecedented and really nasty' majority opinion Anthony Kennedy issued for the DOMA decision.

When asked if Kennedy's writing is really just an 'anti-Christian polemic disguised as a legal opinion,' Schlafly had this to say [via Right Wing Watch]:

"Well, I was extremely offended at all the nasty names he called us. I just think it's so inappropriate, unprecedented and really nasty for the justice to say that the reason DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, was passed, and those who stand up for traditional marriage is that they have animus against gays, they want to deny them equal dignity, that we want to brand them as unworthy, we want to humiliate their children, we have a hateful desire to harm a politically unpopular group. I just think, I feel personally insulted by what Justice Kennedy said. I don't think that's true, the idea that anybody who stood up for traditional marriage is guilty of all the hate in his heart is just outrageous."

Listen, AFTER THE JUMP...

In the past, Schlafly has made the claim that 'the main goal of the homosexuals is to silence any criticism. Most of them aren't interested in getting married.'
