Sportrait: Rafael Nadal

World #2 Rafael Nadal recently spent some time playing pensive for a Nike campaign, quite a change from Rafa's last appearance on these pages, which was bubbly and animated. Nadal and #1 Roger Federer resume their rivalry this week at the Toronto Masters. Federer told reporters he was rested and ready to face the Spaniard: "I’ve had a nice, hot build-up." Indeed.

I saw him in person at the French Open, and hope to see him up close at the US Open. He is amazing, as a tennis player and a beautiful hombre.
