I’ve become strangely addicted to the new James Perse boutique that opened recently on Melrose around the corner from The Abbey, particularly to their expensive stitching-on-the-outside fitted T-shirts that are comfortable as all hell. There was something sickeningly pleasurable about buying a T-shirt for more than $50, until I got home and realized that perhaps if I just turned some of the ones I already own inside out I’d have a whole new wardrobe. It’s not the product, it’s the experience. Yeah, just keep tellin’ yourself that. Good looking shop, though.
