These designs grabbed my eye the other day. They’re part of the Artbox Project, a commercial collaboration by international artists. Seven talented designers have produced a variety of 8″ by 8″ lightboxes with their artwork on the front, which you can buy for roughly $39 apiece. The boxes above are by Brooklyn artist Chris Smith, from a recent project he’s been working on called The Highways of US. They remind me how much I like a good road trip.
