CICADA UPDATE: Last week I wrote about a Washington Post article that suggests people eat cicadas. Now CNN is reporting that you should not allow your cats and dogs out into your yard when the cicadas soon emerge, despite the fact that it will look like “a yard of chicken nuggets.” The cicadas may cause vomiting and constipation. And yet, the WP suggests that we should be eating these things? No thanks, even if they are Atkins-friendly.
