Rev. Fred Phelps plans March picket of Cleveland GA's White County High School, where a group is struggling to form a gay-straight alliance. Local Baptist Church makes statement opposing the club, but denies any relationship with Phelps. Last week Kerry Pacer, the student struggling to start the club, endured a “day of hell” Friday at the ironically named “Sweetheart Prom” where she was jeered by a packed school gymnasium and was told later when she went to her locker room for gym class, “You can't change in here. You're a lesbian.”
