Just when I thought the NYT couldn’t get any gayer today, along comes this review of DC Comics Ex Machina, a comic series about a retired superhero who becomes mayor of New York City, only to preside over the city’s first gay weddings and cause chaos in Gotham. While mayor Hundred’s real-life mirror may be Michael Bloomberg, I’d say his superhero qualities make him more like SF Mayor Gavin Newsom.
