Granted, Manhattan’s Flatiron building did have a narrow flank of scaffolding running up its prow, but our correspondent Alan sends in this photo of a freshly installed Amazonian H&M model who looks ready to stomp across the landscape of Madison Square Park. No longer is a flat expanse necessary to sell anything, as recent explorations of the subway have shown. I am just concerned that the Statue of Liberty may soon start selling The Swiffer.
