And scientists in the Netherlands have used emotion-recognition software on the Mona Lisa to determine what she is actually feeling. What they found: “Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa was 83 percent happy, 9 percent disgusted, 6 percent fearful and 2 percent angry.” I’m glad that’s solved but I think we’d all prefer to bring our own interpretation.
The software examines key features and assigns each a score with respect to six different emotions.
