have filed a lawsuit saying a ballot measure that seeks to overturn the 2003 ruling that paved the way for legal same-sex marriage in Massachusetts is unconstitutional. GLAD says that the Mass. Attorney General made a mistake when he said voters could decide during the 2008 elections to define marriage as between a man and a woman because “ballot initiatives cannot reverse judicial decisions under the state's Constitution.” The lawsuit will be taken up by a Supreme Judicial Court in the coming months.

In his research for the brand new bio Olivier, Sir Laurence Olivier's authorized biographer Terry Coleman says he's found no evidence of a long-rumored homosexual affair with the late actor Danny Kaye but that doesn't mean the actor never dabbled. Says Coleman: “What I did find was evidence of a homosexual affair in 1937 with an actor called Henry Ainley. He was a big name of the 1910s and 1920s. I'm not sure this is a terribly important thing. It's there and it's a fact, and therefore I report it.”
