Here's a sad and informative tribute that went up yesterday at the Republic of T that looks at the tragedy from a gay and lesbian perspective.
Said Terrance: “Like I said, I was sure as I watched the events unfold that somewhere there was another gay man or lesbian watching and wondering, or perhaps knowing with certainty, that a partner wasn't going to be coming back home. I was pretty sure there were couples who died together that day, and I thought about it a month later when the hubby and I boarded a plane for Hawaii (where, unbeknownst to me, he would present me with a ring). By then I knew of at least one gay family that had died together on one of the planes that day…”
And, tragically, so many more…
