I'm blogging today from Fire Island where we're experiencing intermittent torrential downpours. The inclement weather hasn't stopped crews from beginning construction on the dancefloor for next weekend's annual Pines Party benefit, which is apparently taking place directly in front of the house where I am staying. It should be interesting watching this take shape, as the ocean is already encroaching upon their work.
On Saturday, before the bad weather hit, we were treated to a fairly breathtaking sunset, which I now share with you.
