Last week, the Southern Poverty Law Center classified 13 new groups as “hate groups” including the Family Research Council. The FRC’s Tony Perkins and the SPLC’s Mark Potok appeared on Hardball to discuss it, and Perkins tries to back up his bigotry.
Matthews tells Perkins he should go “spank” his colleague Peter Sprigg, which no doubt Perkins will spend the night fantasizing about.
