Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sat down with Fox News' host Megyn Kelly last night for their first interview since the story broke last month of their eldest son Josh's sexual abuse of five underage girls, four of whom were his sisters, back when he was a teenager.
The interview touched on a variety of criticisms directed against the Duggars in the wake of the scandal: why they waited years after the molestation incidents before reaching out to law enforcement, whether they were adequately concerned with the safety of the victims, preaching conservative, anti-gay “family values” while hiding this family secret, etc…
Kelly also asked Michelle directly about her transphobic robocall against a LGBT non-discrimination ordinance in Fayetteville, Arkansas last year, which was narrowly repealed by voters in the city following an anti-LGBT fear-mongering campaign.
Responded Michelle:
I think protecting young girls and not allowing young men and men in general to go into a girls' locker room is just common sense.

TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting but not indicated whether it will cancel the show as a result of the scandal.
