Jose Canseco, a former Major League Baseball outfielder who retired from the game in 2001 and later admitted to using performance enhancing drugs, says he plans to support Cailyn Jenner's transition by dressing up and living as a woman for an entire week.
The New York Daily News reports:
“In the very beginning, I didn't understand it, so I was kind of like, against it,” said Canseco. “Once I watched it more and more, and realized what it really entailed, what he was going through, I started supporting him.”
ESPN adds Canseco will undergo the week-long transition as part of his web series “Spend a Day with Jose.”
