Towleroad has received a report that the Boatslip Resort in Provincetown will not close. Rich Ferrell, owner of the Ptown tea dance fixture has reportedly been given the option to buy out the other owners and has plans to update the rooms but leave the business running as a hotel. Reportedly, public outcry over its sale as well as fears of a cooling condo market have caused investors to rescind their $14.5 million offer. (thanks tony)
