10×10 is an interactive grid of photos pulled from syndicated newsfeeds and placed together in a random grid. Through this process, each hour a snapshot is taken of the world, slowly compiling a history based upon what we, as humans, have chosen to record of our interactions. It’s projects like these which are the seeds of a new kind of digital art based around the ability to automate. No human editors, and no regulation, yet the never-ending tapestry of what the program produces could not happen without human events and creativity. For what’s happening right now, click here.
