  1. This comment may be a bit out of place, Andy, but the Brotha has a very fine Blog. Just spreading some love.

    Headlines: Towleroad Ahead

From the Department of Shameless Self-Promotion: Yesterday, we received a great write-up from one of the hottest blogs around.

Andy at Towleroad—“towle” rhymes with “soul”, got it?—high fived this site for calling Matt Drudge on the red carpet for his Chris Rock Oscars “exclusive.” Our left coast friends at Defamer also took the Drudgester to task. It seems everyone read the recent Entertainment Weekly…but me. Apparently, Chris made some comments and Drudge—as usual—trolled them for hysteria. But Towleroad and Defamer helped to set the record straight, so to speak, lol.

Have you see Towleroad? It’s a fabulous webzine. The site covers pop culture, gay culture, the arts, media, music…it’s a potpourri of fierceness, and exactly the type of reading that hopefully this site will grow into. Over the weekend, it was added to our fam-o-links. Please check it out, and say wassup. BTW, Andy thanks for spiking our traffic! :p

  2. I just love this story. It just keeps getting better. Done in by his own computer. The pics are a nice bonus too!

  3. Man, the Democrats are still soooooo bitter over the election. This guy is just feeling the brunt of that.

Wasn't it a few years ago the Dems were whining about a "witch hunt" when the President lied under oath? How quick they are to do the same thing.

  4. Oh Cyd Cyd! This isn't the same thing at all. As James Wolcott writes "...Gannon/Guckert isn't just an imposter, a DC version of Leo DiCaprio's winsome protagonist in Catch Me If You Can, he was leading a double life and until we know the purpose of his duplicitous role (how the hell did he obtain the classified memo regarding Valerie Plame?), this story should be kept rudely alive"

  5. Ah, yes, that bit of distraction. Let's put this into perspective. The Clinton witch hunt began before he even took office when David Brock was sent to Arkansas to find out if there was something that could be made out of a National Enquirer story... yes, it started at such a desperate level that a conservative journal was combing the National Enquierer for a scandal.

Meanwhile we have security protocols being thrown out the window for... what reason? Why were so many established and sensible precautions thrown out the window? And no matter what the reasons, it's yet another symptom of the hypocrisy and poor judgement of this administration.

  6. Yeah, we should give Gannon a hug and let him go back to what he was doing. He, like all the other closeted conservatives who support this gay-hating administration, deserves all the attention he's getting.

  7. oh cyd, do we forget the republican bitch-fest over Monica? that didn't have nearly the political implications that this has and yet it was the great, blue nuclear weapon. It was. no, shut up. it was.

an unfaithful blowjob pales in comparison to flacid white-house security and gay hypocrosy -about which you should at least be miffed.
