Drool Worthy

Drool

Seen on the street - a dog with a face only a mother could love. Actually, the face is quite lovable. It's the ten-inch strands of drool you don't want any part of...

  1. Gross. I'm a dog lover (we have three of them!), but that's just gross!

So Andy, did you stop and clean the dog's face? As a public service?

  5. The dog looks underfed, if not starving. Look at how think it looks. I'd be more concerned about its health than making fun its looks.

  6. "Annonymous": The dog doesn't look underfed to me. I've been around dogs (and have had them as part of my family... including a formerly emaciated one I rescued off the street who is sitting here as I type this) all my life. The dog has nasty drool; it's not starving. Geez, lighten up. (While you're at it, learn to spell. Either that or you could offer the extra n you threw into anonymous to the dog, so it has something to eat. Properly structured sentences might help, too.)

Why do people comment on others' blogs just to try to attack them? That's a practice that mystifies me. Of course, the attack without revealing one's identity is particularly bold.

  7. Oh, Jess, c'mon, maybe you need to lighten up, too (though you make a point). Perhaps Anonymous is closeted...??

As to the potentially cute, but obviously freezing dog, I say one more reason I'm happy with my fierce jungle puddytat. :)

  8. Just to clear things up - I love dogs and would never take advantage of a poor creature for some kind of sensational phot op — the dog was VERY well fed. It was waiting for its owner outside a market in East Hampton and I think it was just salivating for the next big bone to come along.

  9. Salivating for the next big bone? Ah, yes, and how many of us can relate to that? ;)
