Wilma Pounds Key West
CNN says there are reports that Key West is under two and three feet of water in some places due to the storm surge from Hurrcane Wilma, but they have little photographic evidence so far. Towleroad correspondent Alan L. sends this photo which is a still shot of the Duval Street Web Cam (now down as far as I can tell) and by all indications, Duval Street is under several feet of water.
My prayers and wishes are with those in Key West and in South Florida who have been affected.
UPDATE: Here's another shot, from 11:19am. Water appears to be about knee-high and there is a bit of activity on Key West's main street, including a cyclist!

The webcam worked for me a minute ago. It does take about a minute to load, though. It's interesting how you get not only picture, but sound. I wonder how long it will take the water to recede. Then I suppose the webcam will show people mopping up. I wish them well. I'm sure it will be a big mess.

By the way, while I was watching the live streaming video I saw a guy walk through the water. It appeared to be about knee deep at the moment (10am EST). I don't know if the water level is on its way up or down.
