Elizabeth Taylor makes rare public appearance to open AIDS research center at UCLA: "Acting is, to me now, artificial. Seeing people suffer is real. It couldn't be more real. Some people don't like to look at it in the face because it's painful. But if nobody does, then nothing gets done."

Can't blame those Brazilian boys for boycotting over the lost kiss scene - have you seen the hottie from the soap Bruno Gagliasso) I think he made Gaywired's November Top-10. Woof!

And since Brazillian gays are the only ones who watch Brazillian soaps...the network is screwed

I live in Brazil and I can say we gays are all pretty pissed about the cut, especially since the kiss was being hyped as a milestone for gay visibility in Brazil. Then at the moment when the two male characters were moving in to kiss, with everyone in the audience dying of anticipation, they cut away. It's a pretty insulting edit, really, when the whole story arch of the gay character had been leading to that moment. You can't expect much more from Globo though...

The kiss thing was done in a plot of Will & Grace. Brazilians should do what Will did; go to the nearest reporter and kiss his partner passionately.
If they won't give you attention, create it for yourselves.
Shame on the network for not having the balls to follow through.

Duh, Liz? Was acting ever real? I mean, it's called acting for a reason.
I don't mean to pick on Liz. It's the press that chooses such stupid things to quote. Liz has done some wonderful things for so many charites, especially AIDS charities, and she was one of the greatest actresses Hollywood ever saw.
Long live the true Queen of Hollywood.
