Cristiano Ronaldo: Boxing, Bongos, and What Feels Good

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted shopping again in Wilmslow in Cheshire, UK over the weekend where the footballer demonstrated his skill for accessorizing as well as the best in the sport.
He also revealed some of his relaxation techniques to a Portuguese TV station over the weekend:
"In an interview on Portuguese TV, the 21-year-old winger lifted the lid on how he unwinds at home, away from the high-profile arena of top-flight football. He said: 'When I was mad once I put a television set up in a tree in my garden and tried to knock it down by kicking a football at it. And it worked! I was mad, really p***** off. I play football in my garden. I even broke a window once when we were playing outside. I made a pass to my cousin Nuno but the ball hit the glass and broke it! I also have boxing gloves to hit something or someone to relieve stress. And I like to play the Jambe - bongo drums - because it feels good.' Cristiano also admitted that he does not handle defeat well, and usually ends up hiding away in his spare bedroom after a bad day at the office. 'Sometimes when I perform badly or when things don't go the way I want them to, I come straight home,' he said. 'I eat something, follow the stairs, turn left, enter the small bedroom and lock the door. I just stay there.'"
And once in in the bedroom, additional relaxation techniques begin.
Two more shots after the jump...

I wonder if the paint splatters on the jeans were from painting or just more decoration. Hm, it's paint, right?

he's def. gay.....
Posted by: evan | Oct 16, 2006 9:55:25 AM
Oh... woof! That's gorgous.
I suspect a lot of his off-field aggression is him dealing with emotions he just cannot figure out; sexuality, attraction to his team mates that vaporizes when he is alone.

He is gorgeous. And I love how gay he looks! Loving this look! The man-purse just pulls the whole look together!

He is not only gay, he might possibly have the collective gay soul housed in his body. And the reason for his fag comments, well it's obvious now, if everyone were to know his true identity, they would have to start work on his shrine. Still, because of his fag comments, and his arrogance, he's still pretty ugly where it should matter the most; but yea, so much for him trying to hide/masquerade as straight, he makes Hayden Christensen look a little straight.

He might be straight, but, the 'outfit' is way gay..Just what the hell is he carrying in that man bag?
But, he's beautiful.. no?

Do I have this right? He tucked his shirt into his belt only in the front? Is that what the kids are doing these days?
(Stupid kids. Always on my lawn.)

although living in the public eye is part of the price for being a "public" figure, one never sees him smiling except maybe on the football pitch. he comes across being quite unhappy and angry which i find sad. he seems to convey the same anger as does ian thorpe in public as does george michael at times. as for the queerness in appearance, he is european and not an american form the south and there tends to be more of a pansexuality in europeans than us.

Sadly Not Gay. Keep dreaming boys, and our wish fulfilment will be just round the corner...

What's wrong with bald guys?
Posted by: Anon | Oct 16, 2006 12:22:06 PM
Scott A: exactly. It amazes me to see all the gay men swoon over someone who has made fag comments. No matter how cute he might be (and quite frankly, he a'ight lol), his comments make his as ugly as Bush in a speedo...

Bush in a Speedo? Whatever way you read that, it's pretty gross.

Walk around a major European city and most of the young and hot (and straight) men resemble Mr. Ronaldo.

Eeew.

I must say he carries the whole look very well:
. Hair artfully teased with products;
. Form-fitting pink polo shirt funked up with interesting details on sleeves; shirt front is slightly tucked in to reveal
. Snake-skin belt with big coloured rectangle buckle;
. Moschino jeans with label prominently displayed; and last but certainly not least
. Man-purse (murse) stylishly clutched under arm.
Literally a walking/sashaying fashion plate.
