News: Rosie O'Donnell, Gay Divorcees, Brazil and YouTube
In a dispute over $780,000, a State Supreme Court judge in New York has ruled that one couple's separation agreement is valid even if their marriage, performed in Massachusetts, is not.

Art attack: Rosie O'Donnell posts painting of "Him" on her website, and as Rosie returns from vacation the feud takes a new turn.
Alan Cumming and Grant Shaffer's civil partnership ceremony included a rented ice skating rink where the couple had their "first skate" and was attended by Rufus Wainwright, Sir Ian McKellen, Geri Halliwell, Neve Campbell, Jason Isaacs, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Monica Lewinsky, according to E's Marc Malkin. Said Cumming: "We'd like to thank everyone for their good wishes and messages of support—they mean a lot to us, not only as a celebration of our happiness but also a celebration that two men actually can get married and have the same civil rights as any straight couple. We really hope that soon gay people in America will be treated with the same respect as they are here in the U.K. America is really missing out. You know, the gays really know how to throw a party."
REPORT: French Vogue art director Fabien Baron dumped by Hugo Boss advertising campaign over excessive demands, such as "Baron's insistence that they travel in a black Range Rover for a shoot in Africa."
The first Presidential Debate of the 2008 cycle will be hosted by the South Carolina Democrats and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn on April 26.
YouTube banned in Brazil over MTV presenter's sex tape.
Conservatives at Agape Press, funded by the American Family Association, can't believe that retired Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General John Shalikashvili would come out against "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" so they're calling his recent editorial on the topic a result of his recent stroke. Said one Servicemembers Legal Defense Network spokesman: "Even for Ms. Donnelly, her newest line of attack is an all-time low. To even insinuate that a four-star General is unable to reach his own conclusions about this issue is outrageous."

RECENT STORIES:

I love Rosie and think she is an awesome advocate for gay rights. I was thinking before this even happened that it sure was taking Barbara Walters a long time to respond and to either support Rosie or reprimand her. The View's ratings have never been so high and to get rid of Rosie would mean losing a lot of money. I think Barbara should have come out against Dunce Trump, called him the liar he is and dared him to do anything about it. Sometimes diplomacy gets you nowhere.
I understand Rosie's feelings being hurt and I don't hold it against her.
Maybe she should just leave The View and go back to doing her own show.

Focus on the Family will sink to any depth, tell any lie, do whatever it takes to reach their goals. They are ruthless.

There's never any explanation for what comes out of a religious nut's mouth, but it does sound like the general is out of it because of a stroke, and WHY does SLDN even still exist? Everyone else knows DADT was stopped the moment all the Pentagon brass read Reichen's book of FAIRY tales. Geesh.

evidently Rosie is in position for the host-job at Price Is Right... so perhaps all this spat-hype will not only fluff the apprentice debut but also grease her departure from the view to replace the retiring bob barker. then she'll carry-on about neuturing the donald.

I hate when you force me to link to perez hilton without warning. It pains me to even add one visit to his site. He is trash and I don't want to support it.
PS go rosie!

IMHO... this whole "Rosie / Donald" thing is nothing more than a publicity stunt preceeding a mid-year or "sweeps" event where the two "make up" in public.
It just does not make sense otherwise when two people who really do not like one and other keep rattling the each others cage. If it were true, it would be "I don't like you, go away" and then drop the matter. This keeps perpetuating itself to make it much more epic than what was ever there in the first place. Leading me to suspect... it's a publicity stunt.

I saw the View yesterday and Barbara Walters said that whatever the Donald said she said was not true.
Re the Brazilian sex romp, saw the video no big deal, just two hot hetties fucking in the water... happens all the time on my beachfront property. I just make myself a nice Daiquiri, take out my binoculars and enjoy the show...

Youtube did its share of banning by flagging all gay-themed groups and now an extended number of videos with gay tags.
You'll be hard pressed to ever see a video with gay hunks in their daily top views; it's all "tits on cam" and ridiculous junk like that.
