Anna Nicole Smith Has Died at 39
Former Playboy Playmate, model, reality show star, and Trim-Spa spokeswoman Anna Nicole Smith died after collapsing this afternoon at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Access Hollywood reports: "Anna Nicole had been rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after 2 p.m. EST after collapsing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Local police were reportedly forced to shut down the streets to expedite rushing her to the hospital. According to reports, fire crews and emergency personnel performed CPR on Smith and put a tube down her throat. According to a witness on the scene, when rescue workers arrived, Anna Nicole was unresponsive. Her bodyguard was also reportedly visibly shaken at the scene."
Police officials said they were told by the hospital that Smith was dead at 2:49 pm. Cause of death has not been disclosed, though some are speculating that heart issues are to blame, and others allege she was the victim of a drug overdose.
Smith leaves behind a five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.

Who knows... I can't judge her after she lost her son.
Its tough not to point a finger at Mr. Stern in all this.

I'm watching the live feed from MSNBC waiting for the news conference to begin and they're doing the sound check. One of the guys just tested a mike by saying "Anna Nicole, Anna Nicole....making a living off of Anna Nicole..."!
Is it wrong to be completely disgusted and also laugh at the same time???

I'm not shocked that she's dead, the reaction I'm having is one of, "wow, I really wanted her to get cleaned up and make something better out of her life." She was like the hero of a movie - you don't for one second think that she won't come out the other side of adversity in one piece.

I don't know why (because I never thought of her any differently than I do Paris Hilton), but after being shocked by this, I felt sad.
What a tragic thing for that little girl. I can already see the over-the-top Lifetime channel movie. >
I wonder if it had anything to do with that diet pill crap she was taking that she lost so much weight so quickly with...
