road.jpg Police pursue leads in murder of New Orleans gay activist Robin Malta: " Malta was beaten to death Monday morning, between about 5 a.m. and noon, said John Gagliano, chief investigator for the Orleans Parish coroner. Malta's body had begun to decompose because of the intense heat inside the apartment. Investigators found him inside the apartment lying face-down, shirtless, with a "sexual object" in his mouth, said two officers familiar with the investigation. Several kitchen stove burners were on, said the police sources. Malta had been beaten severely, apparently struck in the head "more than 15 times" with the metal leg of an ironing board, said the two officers. Malta's home showed no signs of forced entry and was not ransacked, said NOPD spokesman Lt. Bruce Adams."

We fight against dangerous scum: MOVILH. First the hacking, next the theft of (MOVILH’s) database. Now comes the best part. We’re going to turn everything on its head in the Plaza de Armas. Faggots dressed as women dancing in front of children are dangerous. They can kiss and fuck if they want to, but they shouldn’t confuse men for women."

Simcityroad.jpg Sim City societies are on their way: "While building your potential hub of the next global superpower, you'll have the new factor of "social energies" to consider, and how you set up your city to manipulate these will dictate the sort of place it is to live in. Depending on how you juggle social factors such as industry, wealth, obediance, knowledge, devotion and creativity within your building schemes, you will have the ability to generate or consume social energy as you see fit, ensuring that your citizens either skip merrily along with the sparkly-eyed, optimistic gait of 1950s sitcom characters, or trudge meaninglessly through a miserable Orwellian nightmare, existing only to serve the state."

road.jpg Israeli gay activist Sa'ar Netanel receives dozens of death threats after Jerusalem police give ok for gay pride parade: "Netanel said in an interview to Israel Radio that the expressions callers used were 'not Jewish,' and included direct threats to kill him as well as other things he 'preferred not to repeat.' When asked if he had faced these kinds of threats in the past, Netanel replied that while he has been sent threatening letters and even been targeted by phone, this was the first time his number had been posted on the Internet. He said he believed the police were looking into his complaint."

road.jpg Kodak said to be developing camera that nearly eliminates the need for flash photography: "The world's biggest maker of photographic film says its proprietary sensor technology significantly increases sensitivity to light. 2. Adam Sandler, maker of crap films, just donated $2,100 to marriage rights denier Rudy Giuliani’s presidential bid. Sandler's probably hedging his bets before his "gay comedy" entitled “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” opens.

    Irony much? Plonker.

  5. Ooooh, "Hush" was the creepiest thing ever.

    RE: Chuck and Larry
Have y'all see that trailer? So bad. I think this film got a GLAAD seal of approval, too. Regardless, cringe-inducing. Not that it stopped the Beavercreek, OH audience from erupting in riotous laughter.

  6. I saw the "Chuck and Larry" trailer in the AMC on 42nd Street. The mostly straight audience laughed out loud at every "we're gay but not really gay" joke right on cue, as if prodded with a cattle prod, almost as if their lives depended on it.

I can't actually believe GLAAD gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to this objectionable, retrograde idiocy. It would be a good idea to call them up and ask why. You can reach them by telephone when you visit www.glaad.org.

And he was Pan and the Pale Man in "Pan's Labyrinth" So this movie is a step down in quality for him, but a check is a check.

  9. I think you should see the whole Chuck and Larry film before you pass judgement. Sandler is not my favorite guy, I don't even think he is that funny most of the time, but I was surprised to find in almost every film he has made there is a gay character, and usually in a positive light, or not even commented on. So I give him slack for that.
Milo is yummy. Just so yummy.

  10. Two hate crimes...

Omar Willcock is only charged with second degree murder even though he purposefully attacked Charles Hynes because he was gay. Simply incredible.

I have no doubt that Robin Malta's death was a hate crime. The brutality tells me that it is.

The new Batman costume is horrible.

  11. LISTEN GAY MEN AND WOMEN.

Be cautious of people who are on the fringe of society. Those are the people that are most likely to commit a hate crime. They're fringe status gives them something to prove.

Here is a very good resource about hate crimes against gay people:

  12. This deals with the ongoing Ronald Goldman. I don't see where this man continues to get off on claiming OJ is making money when it is obvious that Ronald is making money off his dead son. I still don't buy OJ killed two folks at one time with a knife. Ronalds son adds the evidence should dealt cocain and Oj's wife used. Ronald the living needs to recognize his son was a cocain user and that is that. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time and well OJ is no Saint, Ronald the living needs to find another way to make money. I am not a OJ fan but just tired of seeing Ronald the living make his son out to be a saint.

  14. Robin was my friend, he was one of the first people I met when I went to New Orleans in 2001. I went into his salon on Dumaine to get my hair cut and he was such a great guy, crazy character. I still love the dyed blue faux hawk he gave me just before Gay Disney 4 years ago. He had so much life, so much more than me. Crazy, sexy, perverted stories to tell. Loved to make you laugh, I loved to hear him bitch. Robin always made me smile when I came into town, I had to go in to chat. He would visit me at work, he always looked devious, about to cause trouble. I love New Orleans but it is destroying itself person by person. He was the third friend of mine in NOLA killed within a year. Going back now makes me so sad. I know he is missed, and I send my condolences back up there to his family and friends.
