Pee Wee Herman Trotted Out After 15 Years

Pee Wee Herman made his first appearance in 15 years a few days ago at Spike TV's first annual "Guys Choice."

Peewwee2_2Said exec producer Casey Patterson: "The goal for Guys Choice was to let guys program the night themselves through Over a million guys logged on, we listened, and we're thrilled to deliver their choice for the return of one of the most beloved comedic icons of all time. Pee Wee rules!"

Pee Wee's last appearance was in a 1992 tribute to Minnie Pearl at the Grand Ole Opry, the year after Paul Reubens was arrested for masturbating publicly in an adult theater.

Yikes. Seems like there are some characters that the public shouldn't be allowed to see age. This is one of them.

  3. Oh come on Andy, everybody changes in 15 years. We can't all be young and pretty forever.

  4. Poor Pee Wee. Rubens career was destroyed for nothing. He's hilarious, and so is Pee Wee. I hope that things start going better for both of them. Welcome back!!

  7. Got milk?

Andy, not everyone can age as fabulously as you do. What is your secret? Could you provide us with some tips on your regimen, please?

  8. PHEW! "Trotted Out" indeed. Look, i love Pee-Wee too... uhem and i LOVED Pee-Wees Playhouse- it was ahead of its time. But he just looks awful there with that make-up job. Oh, well. Yes, Giancarlo- i hope to look as fit and hot as Mr. Towle when i hit the big 4-0. HOO-HA!

  10. OMG he does look like David Gest!!

  11. I would agree with Andy in that there's nothing wrong with aging gracefully, but that includes changing your look to fit your age. Doing Pee Wee just highlights Ruben's age instead of complimenting it. It's like people who get "stuck" in some year and never change their look for 30 years or more. It just gets increasingly ridiculous. The hot 50/60 y/o man is not the one trying to pass as a 20 y/o from the 70's.

Whaddaya mean, Homer? I thought the whole point in being a gay male was to be young and pretty forever, no?

  14. It reminds me of Bela Lugosi dressing up like Dracula in the film Ed Wood.

  16. Thank you, Tom. How exactly would Pee Wee Herman "change his look to fit his age"?

  17. Gosh, it looks like Pee Wee's been living on donuts for the past 15 years. But I'm glad to have him back anyway. He got a raw deal.

  18. I used to work in a Pscyhological ward. He looks like he belongs there. Once a pervert, always a pervert. Ugly, not funny & sick. How charming.

  19. Yea, Pee Wee!

All the haters should be bound up with an extra-huge pair of underpants.

  20. Actually, I was going to remark on how LITTLE he's changed in 15 years. Maybe I need new bifocals.

  21. I'm sorry to hear of his death. The Alamo will miss him.

  22. Aw, I think he looks great!

  23. Why do people call him a pervert? Does watching porn and jerking off to it make you a pervert? If so, then probably about 95% of Americans should be shunned the same way that some people shunned Paul Reubens. And if you're going to bring up the child porn thing, save your breathe, he didn't have any child porn. Why do people get so scared of something different, wonderful, creative, and exciting? Can't wait to see more of Pee-Wee soon!!!

  24. Wait, wasn't he on an Mtv awards show after the arrest? He said something like, "Seen any good movies lately?" and the crowd went nuts.

  25. "Ugly, not funny & sick."

I know you are but what is he?
