Golden Boy Orlando Bloom

Came across this shot today (though I have no idea when or where it was taken), and have to say its the finest I've seen of Orlando Bloom in a while. Bloom is currently receiving good reviews in a production of In Celebration in London's West End.
There were rumors he was to pull a Daniel Radcliffe in that production, but those rumors were later squashed. Shame.

Always been a cutie. He's obviously been working his pecs some. Too bad he has those skeletony skinny boy feet!

ah, Orlando - never at any time for more than six inches away from cigarette and lighter.
Posted by: myzenart | Jul 25, 2007 6:41:36 PM
Wrong, Andy -- Orlando should stay away from New York stages. For cryin' out loud, I'm sick of all the films stars on a lark who take jobs away from deserving actors. (Except for Hugh Dancy in "Journey's End" -- he was cute AND good.)

Meh. Untalented, skinny, and inarticulate. Three strikes.
Posted by: rudy | Jul 25, 2007 6:50:44 PM
Lucky runt. Somebody paid me what he makes to mutter lines, I would be damn well be a great actor. Plus I have a better looking body. Luck. Its all luck I tell you. LOL.

Orlando is lookin' hotter than he used to. The haircut helps!
Posted by: yum | Jul 25, 2007 7:04:27 PM
Like the hairstyle and the chest. I agree with previous comment. He has been working out
Posted by: Jay Denton | Jul 25, 2007 7:15:59 PM
All of a sudden he's pretty hot. Haircut does look good. Nice chest too, who knew.

This was taken in 2001 in Ibiza.

OMiGod! I want him to be my boyfriend he's so hunky. Gorgeous...simply gorgeous.
And please guys, quit hating on us skinny fellas. Some of us have to fit into Hedi Slimane, ya' know?

He has a tattoo of a compass above his pubes, yummy yummy!
Posted by: cute | Jul 25, 2007 7:41:33 PM
THAT PICTURE IS AT LEAST SIX YEARS OLD.
His hairline has totally receded since then.

He was recently on Graham Norton and is looking better than ever. Used to think that he was too boyish looking but is now turning into a handsome man.

He is dating a black girl know funny how its not all over the tabloids.
I just had to say that being black i guess they figure dont publicize it its too controversial hes dating one of them.
I sware thats on the same taboo level as being homosexual

Orlando is friends with his co-star who is a lovely girl named Naomie Harris, they had dinner. Not dating. Orlando's boyfriend wouldn't approve I don't think.
He's hot though. Don't Hate.
Posted by: FOOLLS | Jul 25, 2007 10:15:57 PM
FOOLLS - Yes.
MIKE - I agree, re. Graham Norton. He's aging very well, although I don't really fancy the tash he's sporting in the name of this play.

When he was on the cover of Gotham, I almost fainted. Talk about GORGEOUS! Too friggin' cute.
Posted by: Jordan | Jul 25, 2007 11:01:23 PM
He is as hot now, as he was when that pic was taken.
Posted by: michael | Jul 26, 2007 12:38:48 AM
WoW - WoW - Wee - Wah! Hawt! Thanks for this photo. :)
Posted by: Andy Samberg | Jul 26, 2007 2:33:47 AM
I cant wait till he comes out, I am surprised he hasn't been outed yet. His relationship with Kate Bosworth was such a sham.
That picture was taken 4 or 5 years ago probably after he filmed Black Hawk Down. He was so hot then.

Until this picture I never understood the appeal.
Posted by: Scott | Jul 26, 2007 8:36:56 AM
Was never into him; recoginition of the white trash tattoo definitely isn't helping to change my mind...

Its always so infuriating to read comments that slag off the skinny ones. There are those that find muscles and that lifestyle completely repulsive. Some people by nature are skinny and should not have to feel inferior to an overhyped image of the chiseled chelsea boy whom salivates over the pint of Chunky Monkey he knows he can never eat. Id much rather spend time with a skinny guy who isnt constantly worried about hs pecs and unable to even go to a movie because of his gym obligations.

THANK YOU JOHN!
As a chronic skinny guy myself who can never push past the 140 lbs mark, (I'm 5'10") I know all too well the reverse discrimination & just plain bitchiness of people who are slaves to the gym.
Although I don't have to watch what I eat, I do have to be careful with the exercise or I can lose more weight than I'd like. I still do weights, but no cardio.
You'd still be surprised by all the bitchy comments, attitude, etc., not just by the gym bunnies but by people in general (especially fatties) given to skinny people, but I've learnt the best way to deal is to just eat a piece of celery, declare "I'm stuffed", and laugh obscenely loud.
Posted by: Jordan | Jul 26, 2007 12:20:36 PM
I agree with Rudy. Cardboard has more acting ability.
Posted by: Gary | Jul 26, 2007 12:32:17 PM
Orlie will probably never "come out" whatever that means. Unless such time as he is no longer in demand of course, then it will revitalize his career. Let's hope he's not too old by then. People who need to know about him, already know. The rest shouldn't care. He doesn't need to be a poster boy for Gay rights to have a career in fact at this stage it would hurt him. Don't act shocked when actors prefer to just be smart business people. Duh!

I'm one of those that have a tough time gaining weight, so no remarks on his being skinny. But, what the hell are you guys talking about on his chest...he has none...
And he never did it for me, as an actor or a guy....while he's not ugly by any means, he just dosen't make my willie twitch.
If he ever gets any acting talent he will be around past balding age.
Posted by: Joshua | Jul 26, 2007 3:52:47 PM
Why should it matter or not ? He's still hot.
Posted by: Jordan | Jul 26, 2007 4:02:13 PM
THAts is true im a size 2 no matter how much i eat and sleep every day ( i just finished highschool i vacation randomly so no job) i dont get bigger in fact im usully a 1 some stores zero granted im 5'7"
People in Europe start talking to me in whatever language their native one is cause they think all americans are fat ecspecially black ones
All the girls think anything under a 6 is anorexic even if it eats chinese food and huffs up the stairs
Im still right Orlando is still straight
Posted by: sasha | Jul 26, 2007 4:09:01 PM
@SASHA: Maybe Europeans speak to you in their NATIVE LANGUAGES because, uh, duh, those are their NATIVE LANGUAGES? Get a fucking clue.
P.S.: Orlando was never straight, sorry.
Posted by: FOOLLS | Jul 26, 2007 4:20:56 PM
Well Sasha, I hate to tell ya, but a size 6 IS HUGE, and even all my (female) friends are size 0.
A lot of Americans ARE really fat, but not the ones who are clothes whores ;)
I dunno if Orlando is gay or straight. He's really pretty, but about as good an actor as Keanu Reeves.
Posted by: Jordan | Jul 26, 2007 11:46:59 PM
Just a note to Kimmer: he's not on the New York stage. He's playing in the West End in London.
And for JOEintheOC and CoreysBBoy and FOOLLS: It's getting pathetic when people try to drag out the "it would ruin his career" bull to explain why some straight doesn't come out. How can you come out if you're straight? I've met enough people who met him in RL to figure that he isn't gay.
