Harry Potter Producer: Daniel Radcliffe Unquestionably Straight
The new issue of Details features a cover story on Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter-mania ratchets up again, and the film's producer is there to let everyone know how he's grown:
"When I ask David Heyman, the producer of the Harry Potter franchise, how his star has changed in the seven years since he first cast him, he says that Radcliffe is basically still the same—full of enthusiasm and intense curiosity. But in other ways he is unrecognizable. 'He’s no longer interested in the World Wrestling Federation. He is astonishingly well-read,' Heyman says. 'And he is unquestionably interested in the opposite sex.' And then there is that relentless compulsion to show off his body. One startled British tabloid saw his nude scene in Equus and headlined an article hairy botter. 'First, it’s a crap pun because botter isn’t even a word,' Radcliffe says. 'But equally it’s that thing of being shocked that I should have hair—you know, anywhere else other than on my head. It’s not so much that they don’t want me to grow up. It’s that they’re annoyed that I’m growing up adjusted. They’d much rather I was growing up and going wild and crashing cars.'"

Ummm, is he 18 yet? If so, I think he looks really beautiful in that vest. If not, I rescind my observation.

Great baby blues on not such a baby, but a babe. He's what Elijah Wood would look like if Elijah was better looking! So why the point of making sure everyone knows he's straight. It seems the gay disclaimer is now a part of the usual news release.

Bill - if you read the interview, it isn't making a point that he's straight or denying that he's gay, it's just a throwaway comment about how he's grown up since the movies started

Wow, major misleading headline. No where in that article does the producer use the phrase "unquestionably straight." In fact, no one even asks him or Daniel Radcliffe if he's straight or gay. The point of his quote is that he's gone through puberty since the first movie.
Don't try to start drama where there's not any.

Apparently Daniel will be 18 at the end of this month, so until then, the "Damns!" will have to be reserved for the UK where I believe that he is currently of the age of majoity when it comes to such admiration.
But of course, I could be wrong.

That is till 13 days from now when he hits 18. His birthday being 07/23/89, but 13 days from now do not be surprised if you hear a "Hot DAMN" echo across the world.

wtf? more ppl are coming out as straight this year than gay. uhh..why???? who cares if these ppl are straight? why do they all have to scream that they're not gay? isn't it assumed you're str8 until some1 comes out?

He looks scary. The first photo actually looks like an impersonator of him. It doesn't even look like him. I guess it's the lighting and position of his head that makes him look different.

First Equus, now this! I don't think I can look at Harry Potter the same way again, lol. From what I've heard from mates in London, our boy Daniel is a charming, unpretentious young man. Good luck to him in his future acting. BTW, I'm going to the premiere of Order of the Phoenix tonight at midnight at the Tropicana Casino IMAX theater in Atlantic City-can't wait!!!

Honesty is the best policy in my book, and 'wanting' to do something is never illegal.
Plus, if he's eighteen now, we could have had his legs up in the air two years ago.
