Kansas Church: If Clay Aiken's Gay, He Can't Sing Here

Parishioners at the Central Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas where Clay Aiken is reportedly scheduled to give a Christmas concert in late November are apparently worried they might have a gay enter their holy sanctuary and want to make sure that's not the case before Aiken is allowed to sing there:

"The Central Christian Church controversy reached a fever pitch shortly after the performance was announced, and the executive pastor Mark Posson felt compelled to send a letter to concerned elders. A source tells the National Enquirer, 'Pastor Posson thought it was in the church's best interest to circulate a letter.' In the note, the pastor avoided the gay issue, declaring Aiken was a Christian who didn't 'drink, smoke, swear or womanise'. The clergyman also recalled interviews Aiken gave to Rolling Stone magazine and an internet site, in which he stated he was not gay."

Well, that doesn't sound like he "avoided the gay issue" to me, but take it for what you will.

  1. ...but if you are a reformed cocksucking tweaker who can "be cured" I'm sure you'd be welcome.

  2. So, Clay, what say ye?

Even if YOUR'RE not gay yourself (pfttt), do you really want to perform in a church that has such an exclusive, ugly and hateful policy?

  3. Make that "YOU'RE".

    Posted by: Zeke | Oct 8, 2007 10:17:37 AM

  4. Yeah, I agree with Zeke, even if he's not gay, he should tell these hypocritical superstitious backwoods mouth-breathers to go fuck themselves.

  5. So he has to prove he isn't gay? This will be interesting. Isn't he just using the church as a concert venu? It isn't like he's there to preach or to take part in a church service. He's singing Christmas songs. What's the problem?

  6. Well, he certainly doesn't womanize.

I thought the general rule was that the behavior is a sin based on free will choice--thus, you really don't have "gay" men, just men who lead a "gay lifestyle" by choice. If Clay doesn't do that he should be just as acceptable as anyone else.

  7. Sounds like this church needs to read their bible. Do they not know the store of Mary M?

  8. Not that I give a rats ass one way or another about Clay, but if he has ANY thread of decency about him, he would tell these bigotted zealots to go fuck them selves, regardless, over their attitude.

  9. The congregation are just trying to hide their shellfish-eating, mixed-thread-wearing, and presence of menstruating women.

  10. Sadly this doesn't surprise me (I'm from Wichita). This church is commonly referred to as "Six Flags Over Jesus" by the local residents. They were big supporters of the Gay Marriage Amendment and tend to do everything possible to make gays lives hell on earth.

  11. Rad is right. If Aiken had a shred of integrity he would cancel the appearance.

  12. I think as a test of his worthiness to perform within their holy sanctuary, the clergy of the Central Christer Church should offer up a 13-year-old female virgin for Clay to expertly deflower on their altar—before the whole parish.

  13. First of all, the church did not say that Clay wasn't welcome. Visit their website and you will see a totally different picture. They are delighted that he is holding a concert in their church.

This whole story is coming from one person who is a Clay stalker and attention seeker that keeps contacting the National Enquirer in hopes of getting his picture in the paper and hoping for a career in porn. Unfortunately sometimes it works because the NE isn't smart enough to know what he's after and they like to publish sordid stories regardless of whether they are true or not or what kind of depraved person they are coming from. You need to visit some other blogs that tell the real story of the stalker. You can start with Chexxxy's Pearls and LiesBiteBack. There are also many links to other blogs that will enlighten you.

  14. What's interesting is that two of the four people who tour with him are openly gay men (the other two are women). Does the church object to them being on stage? Do they have a problem playing at this church? From what I understand, this letter has never actually been verified as real, and originated on the blog of the guy who outed Clay two years ago, and he sent it to the National Enquirer who then printed it.

  15. Such good friggin Christians!

  16. Judy is correct. You're repeating another slanted story by stalkerboy who keeps trying to become famous by creating fairytales. Clay isn't gay but his musical director for the Christmas tour and this past summer tour is along with Clay's drummer. What a couple of sweeties and I would be very surprised if they don't win over members who attend the concert.

Truth is that stalkerboy is doing everything he can to get the concert disrupted. He wants Clay to sue him so he can breathe the same air as Clay. He's just your run of the mill con artist but he's also a very dangerous, deranged stalker and the more people who give him attention in the media and blogs, the more dangerous he becomes.

By all means check out the blogs by starting at and follow her blog links. There's no shame in seeking the truth and reporting that.

    Thank you for your time

  17. That John Paulus fellow says that Aiken isn't good enough for the church, that he has sent them pictures and IMs and his own testimonials about how Aiken is a filthy homosexual who cannot set foot in a Christian church. He posted the pictures and phone numbers of all the staff members of the church and has encouraged anybody and everybody to harass the Church into canceling the show.

It seems to me that the only one upset about a homosexual performing at a Christian church is the person who's been stalking Aiken for the past two years with a claim of a bad one-night stand. Which he has admitted that lied about earlier this year.

Seriously, get this guy a straight jacket.

  18. Clay is all about inclusion. He is not denying his strong faith, but he is also not denying the right of his gay coworkers to participate in this event. Maybe everyone needs to step back and think about his efforts to include everyone.

Clay is about free speech, open acceptance, and the value of the individual. He is not going to pick sides.

  19. For those of you who would like to see and hear Clay Aiken and judge for yourselves, take a look at this YouTube:

  20. I agree with some of the other posts here. Clay needs to cancel this performance whether he is gay or not. F*ck this church.

  21. I love it when one of the blogs I read does a Clay Aiken post. It always brings out the crazies. It's like they sit around all day doing Google blog searches looking for any mention of Clay so they can rush to his defense.

Kathy Griffin couldn't make this shit up.

  22. Well, how Christian is this??? Typical behavior for those so called Christians who probably are out having same sex romps of their own!!! Those who condem are usually closeted themselves!! Learn to live and let live!!

  23. yep.. i'm with 'crispy' on this one. any mention of clay and all the "claymates" come out of the woodwork to swear he's str8 and repeat the same old tired lines about his 'stalker'.. amusing, yet tiresome.
i don't give a rat's ass about clay, but when you're posting videos on the manhunt site ...mmmm.. you MIGHT be gay .. hahaha.

  24. I am a fan of Clay's, but I do not think it is "rushing to his defense" to correct misinformation and lies, when the correct information is readily available for anyone to verify. We aren't making anything up - there is a loon doing that. See the addresses above where you can see for yourself.

  25. So the National Enquirer is taken as a credible source these days? That says a LOT right there.
